The Ohio River Sweep is an annual cleanup that extends the entire length of the Ohio River. Since 1989, ORSANCO has gathered thousands of volunteers across six bordering states that have come together to pick up trash along the river and its tributaries.
The 2025 River Sweep is scheduled for Saturday, May 24, from 10 AM – 12 PM at Frederick’s Landing Park (100 Frederick’s Landing, Wilder, KY 41076). Please register here! Volunteers are provided with all supplies needed to clean up the riverside area, including a FREE t-shirt.

Individuals seeking to do a nationwide FBI Background Check can utilize: Identity History Summary Checks — FBI . Individuals will need to be fingerprinted first.
Individuals seeking to get fingerprinted for any reason will need to do so at an Identigo LiveScan location, as of December 9, 2020. Campbell County Police does not offer fingerprinting any longer due to changes in processing through the Kentucky State Police. You can find out more about the process at Identogo.com and/or kentuckystatepolice.org.
Individuals needing INK fingerprints (FBI and Firearms usually) may obtain these at the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office.

This is a skilled position in the Detention Center. It is a non-sworn position with no arrest powers. This position deals mainly with the operational aspect of the facility.
