Campbell County Fiscal Court’s Finance Department is committed to transparency in fiscal management, recording and reporting. The department oversees all county funds by creating, analyzing and managing annual budgets. The department manages debt obligations, and oversees all county financial transactions. Other department responsibilities include Occupational Tax.
The Occupational License Office is the tax collection and licensing agent for Campbell County and the cities of Alexandria, Cold Spring, Ft. Thomas, Highland Heights, Melbourne, Southgate, and Woodlawn.

Motor vehicle license fees pursuant to KRS 139.470 and HB 1 (effective 1-1-2023) are due the 20th of every month for the previous month.
