The Northern Kentucky University Norse, are located in Highland Heights, KY. Having won three NCAA DII National Championships, the Norse Men's Basketball team moved to DI in 2012 and currently compete in the Horizon League. The Men's Basketball team reached the NCAA Division I Tournament in 2017, 2019, and 2023. The Norse Women's Basketball Team has reached the DII Tournament 20 times, winning the championship in 2000 and 2008.
