Shaded trails wind along the creek, above the lake and through mature forests and across deep ravines. Trails are moderate on a dirt surface with 1 brief road section. Out and back is approximately 20 miles or about a 8 hour ride. The day ride trail head has a shelter house with water. A shower house with flush toilets is located nearby. Horses must remain on marked trails. There is water on the trail at the creek crossing. The parking area is tight for large rigs. Large groups should contact A. J. Jolly Park to make arrangements for overflow parking. In order to record equine usage, please register each rider at the front gate. For trail information call 859-635-4423.
