Individuals seeking to do a Kentucky statewide background check can utilize Kentucky Court of Justice - Kentucky Court of Justice (kycourts.gov) . Please choose the option for “Background Checks”

Individuals seeking to do a nationwide FBI Background Check can utilize: Identity History Summary Checks — FBI . Individuals will need to be fingerprinted first.

Individuals seeking to get fingerprinted for any reason will need to do so at an Identigo LiveScan location, as of December 9, 2020. Campbell County Police does not offer fingerprinting any longer due to changes in processing through the Kentucky State Police. Individuals needing INK fingerprints (FBI and Firearms usually) may obtain these at the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office.
