Housing Specialist
Campbell County Fiscal Court is accepting applications for a full-time Housing Specialist in the Housing Department. The Housing Specialist, under general supervision, interviews and counsels applicants and participants for the housing assistance programs. The Housing Specialist also verifies applicant information, certifies and re-certifies applicants and participants and performs related duties as required. Associate Degree from an accredited college or university with coursework in social work, sociology, human services or other job-related field plus two years of experience in a housing related field; or any equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Certification as a Rent Calculation Specialist is required at the time of hire or within one year of service, and is a continuing condition of employment as a Housing Specialist. This is a full-time, 35 hour per week position with a pay rate ranging from $24.00 to $31.00 per hour.
