Shelter & Private Picnic Reservations
Shelter and Private Picnic Reservations begin the first working day in February. Shelters and Private Picnic areas can be reserved from April through October and the cost ranges from $32 to $107 for shelters and $123 to $246 for the Private Picnic areas (non-refundable) for the entire day. Private Picnic Areas Red Fox (P1) & Blue Heron (P2) and Whitetail (Jolly 1) have water & electric.

Shelter and Private Picnic area reservations must be paid within 15 days of making the reservation. Payment can be made by check, money order, cash, or credit card. If payment is not made within 15 days, your reservation will be canceled. Reservations made within 15 days of the reserved date must be paid at the time of the reservation.

In the City of Newport, with views of the Cincinnati skyline we have an award winning bourbon distillery in the urban core, New Riff. “We are a new riff on an old tradition, that tradition or theme being Kentucky Bourbon. New Riff was founded in 2014 by Ken Lewis, a visionary Kentucky liquor retailer and entrepreneur; and in 2018 expanded its roots in the urban core. This expansion features a barrelhouse, used to store 3,600 barrels; along with a new rickhouse to hold around 18,000 barrels.
