TRAINING ANNOUNCEMENT

COURSE TITLE: EOC/ICS Interface Workshop (G191)
This course is a requirement for the APS and CKEM Certificate. It is also a prerequisite for the ICS Train-the-Trainer Course.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The EOC/ICS Interface Workshop enables participants to develop an effective interface between Incident Command and the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) for their community to apply Incident Command System (JCS) principles. This course reviews ICS and EOC responsibilities and functions and depends heavily on exercises and group discussions to formulate the interface. The course provides an opportunity for participants to begin developing an interface between an Incident Management Team and EOC personnel.

PARTICIPANT CRITERIA: The intended audience(s) are federal, state, tribal, territorial, local level, private industry, volunteer and nongovernmental emergency management personnel who are active in a community's ICS and EOC activities.

PERQUISITE:
No perquisites for this training.

This Course is sponsored by the Campbell County Office of Emergency Management and the Kentucky Division of Emergency Management.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Course enrollment maximum is 30 participants.
2) There are no course fees.
3) Participants will need access to a laptop or mobile device/tablet during the course.
