Event Description:
I’d like to extend an invitation to you to attend our Basic Search and Rescue (BSAR) training being offered here in Campbell County on April 19-21, 2024. This course is designed to provide guidance to SAR field responders on best practices and techniques. Information about the duties and tasks of SAR field responders, current information on SAR field responder clothing and equipment, as well as details on the latest search techniques, information on SAR specialties such as hasty search, grid search, utilizing specialty teams, subject packaging and transport. Class will begin at 6:00 p.m. EDT on Friday and 8:00 a.m. EDT on Saturday and Sunday. There will be a night search Saturday night and all students must have water, two flashlights, sturdy shoes, no tennis shoes and appropriate dress for the night exercise. This course is approved for KLEC Credit.
