Auto Extrication: Technician
Class Dates May 13 to 17
8:00 to 17:00 each day
This 40-hour high intensity course is designed to elevate the student’s working knowledge beyond
the fundamentals of auto extrication. Class will be extensively hands on, covering scene safety,
stabilization, lifting and patient disentanglement techniques to meet the requirements of NFPA 1670
Chapter 8 Vehicle Search and Rescue. Students will need full PPE and safety glasses.

Class Cost: $50.00 to cover cost associated with the Class
Pre-requisite: Working knowledge to a minimum of Awareness level in Auto Extrication and your
Chief’s or Training Officer’s approval.
Attendance required at all sessions. This is a very physically demanding class, please come
prepared to work.
