LEVEL 1 SNOW EMERGENCY DECLARED
Campbell County has declared a Level 1 Snow Emergency, starting Saturday at Noon.
What’s happening?
A winter storm is expected to bring 8–12 inches of snow and some ice. Roads may be slippery and dangerous through Monday.
What drivers should know:
• Slow down and be extra careful
• Roads may be icy or covered in snow
• Give snowplows and first responders plenty of space
Important parking reminder:
During a snow emergency, do not park on county-maintained roads in areas outside city limits.
These rules do not apply to city streets. If you live in a city, check your city’s snow parking rules.
Why this matters:
Cars parked on the road can block snowplows and emergency vehicles. Moving your car helps keep roads clear and keeps your vehicle safe from damage.
