Submit a Trash for Cash Application

Thank you for your interest in Campbell County’s Trash for Cash program!

Below you will find steps to follow in order to apply for a Trash for Cash Program slot. 

Your group must meet the following criteria in order to be eligible: 

  1. You must be a federally-recognized 501(c)(3) not-profit organization.
  2. Your group is located in Campbell County.
  3. Volunteers must be age 11 or older.
  4. You must establish a group leader who is responsible for all contact with the Campbell County Solid Waste Coordinator.
  5. You must review and submit your top three preferred routes from Trash for Cash Route Maps 
  6. You must complete the Application below and submit the Litter Pickup Agreement along with your most recent W-9 tax form via email to the Campbell County Solid Waste Coordinator.

Preferences

Supplies are available for pickup Wednesday-Friday the week of your preferred date. All supplies must be returned to the Campbell County Administration Building in Newport by 10AM the Tuesday following your event. Please do not plan your event until you have received confirmation of your assigned date from the Campbell County SWC.
Select your top three preferred dates April 1 - October 31, below. Do not request the same date/week in all three fields.

Your group may sign up for up to 5 miles, both sides of roadway.

Review the available Trash for Cash Route Map Directory List your top three preferred route numbers. Do not request the same route number in all three fields. Due to funding regulations, you may have to complete a route outside your preferred area(s).

If you have a preferred route that is not listed on Routes 1-24 above, describe the location of the route below, including city, road names, landmarks, etc.
