Campbell County offers plenty of shoreline to fish the Ohio River which runs along the state line separating Kentucky from Ohio.
An angler with a Kentucky fishing license may fish the entire main stem of the Ohio River from a boat, or a bordering state’s bank without buying the other state’s license (bordering states include Illinois, Indiana and Ohio).

Situated just across the river from downtown Cincinnati, Aloft Newport on the Levee is ideally situated in the entertainment district and near exciting attractions such as Great American Ball Park, Cincinnati Art Museum and the Newport Aquarium.
As part of the Fishing in the Neighborhoods (FINS) program, this lake is regularly stocked with catchable-size catfish up to four times annually. Additionally, this lake is stocked with rainbow trout in the spring and fall. Largemouth bass and sunfish are regularly sampled and stocked if necessary.
