HUD has postponed the NSPIRE 10/1/2025 implementation date.

The requirements for carbon monoxide and smoke alarms remain in place as those requirements are statutory in nature. Lead-based paint visual assessment standards remain unchanged.

CCDH will continue under Housing Quality Standards(HQS) and will update once more information is available.
