Professional Career
Commissioner Painter has enjoyed a professional career in Hydrogeology from 1984 to 2014 serving throughout the country, holding professional registration in Kentucky and Idaho. He was also a small business owner in Campbell County operating Vineyard Hardwoods for thirteen years.
Public Service
Commissioner Painter was first elected as District One Commissioner November 2, 2010. Was re-elected in 2014 and 2018.
Personal Background
Commissioner Painter and his wife Sulinda have been married for 38 years, and have one son, Matt. They live near Alexandria.
Education
Commissioner Painter holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Northern Kentucky University and a Master of Science Degree from Ohio University.
Community Involvement
Commissioner Painter is an Associate Member of the Alexandria Fair board. He has served on the Christian Education center School Board. Commissioner Painter has served on the board of the Alexandria Church of Christ, and is on the deacon and trustee board of Main Street Baptist Church.
Commissioner Painter serves on the board of the Cooperative Extension Service in Campbell County and is on the OKI Executive Committee (A municipal Planning Organization for transportation within our region).
