Tom and his wife, Kim, are lifelong residents of Ft. Thomas, where they are raising their three children, Tyler, Will, and John. Tom is a graduate of St. Thomas Elementary School, St. Xavier High School, and Xavier University. He has a BSBA in Marketing, 1984.

He is very active at his parish, St. Catherine of Siena, and serves on the Liturgical Committee as a Lector. Tom also serves on the Board of the St. Elizabeth Healthcare Foundation on the Business Support Committee.

Tom served six terms on Ft. Thomas City Council. He was Chairman of the Public Safety Committee and Parks and Recreation Committee, and was a member of the Public Works Committee and the Finance Committee.
