Commissioner Besecker has been spent his entire professional career as an educator at Campbell County High School. There he teaches United States History, Advanced Placement Government and Politics as well as Criminal Justice. Through Campbell County Schools, Commissioner Besecker has also served on various Site Based Councils and Principal Selection Committees. Additionally, he has coached various sports and has led a number of extra-curricular clubs and activities.
Commissioner Besecker and his longtime wife, Toni, have raised 4 boys in Grant’s Lick. The boys are all well rounded students, active in sports, outdoor activities and church.
Commissioner Besecker has a bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University in secondary education and a master’s degree from Northern Kentucky University in history education. He also holds a National Board Teaching certificate in secondary education.
Commissioner Besecker has been active for many years in Campbell County through various organizations and groups. He is a member of the CARE Mission board which serves those less fortunate in our region with basic needs and counseling. He also serves as a deacon and youth leader at Main Street Baptist Church in Alexandria. Commissioner Besecker has helped organize and serve alongside others on various community projects including food drives and mission work for those in need. He has also volunteered for many years in youth programs, activities and sports throughout Campbell County.
