The 2020 Census is happening now

By March 20th you should have received an official mailing from the US Census Bureau with detailed information on how to respond to the 2020 Census online, by phone, or by mail.  Census results help determine how billions of dollars in federal funding flow into states and communities each year.  These results also determine how many seats in Congress each state gets. Communities rely on census statistics to plan for a variety of resident needs including new roads, schools, and emergency services.
For more information, go to census.gov.

The 2020 Census is following the guidelines for covid-19 to ensure the safety of our staff and your community. Field Operations should resume by the end of July / first week of August and the 2020 Census is currently taking applications for Campbell County. Campbell County still needs 358 more Census Takers for the 2020 Census. You can apply online today at 2020census.gov/jobs.

2020 Census

Census forms and invitations are *not* sent to P.O. Boxes, as the Census needs to link an invitation to a single, physical location. However, this does not at all mean you will not be counted. You will receive a hand-delivered form, once U.S. Census field operation resumes. You can go online to 2020census.gov or call 1-844-330-2020 to complete the form.
