DESCRIPTION:   Basic Search and Rescue (BSAR)\n   October 17-19\, 2025\n

 land Heights\, KY 41076\n\n   Course Description:\n   This course is desig
 ned to provide guidance to SAR field responders on\n   the best practices 
 and techniques. Information about the duties and\n   tasks of SAR field re
 sponders\, current information on SAR field\n   responder clothing and equ
 ipment\, as well as details on the latest\n   search techniques\, informat
 ion on SAR specialists such as hasty\n   search\, grid search\, utilizing 
 specialty teams\, subject packaging and\n   transport. Class will start at
  6:00 pm EST on Friday. It will continue\n   on Saturday and Sunday with c
 lasses starting at 8:00am EST. All\n   students must have water\, two flas
 hlights\, sturdy shoes (no tennis\n   shoes) and appropriate dress for the
  exercise. If you have a SAR pack\,\n   please bring for the exercise. Pen
 cil and paper required.\n\n   Student Criteria:\n   This course is open to
  all Emergency Management\, Rescue\, Fire\,\n   Emergency\, Medical\, Tele
 -communicator\, and Law Enforcement personnel\n   or any organization havi
 ng responsibility for searching for missing or\n   lost persons. You MUST 
 be at least 18 years old to register for this\n   class.\n\n   Special Not
 es:\n   A MINIMUM of Fifteen (15) advance student registrations is REQUIRE
 D\n   and must be received by October 7\, 2025 in order to conduct this\n 
   course. We are limiting the class size to 60. You are considered\n   acc
 epted as a student in this class upon receipt of your application\n   by t
 his office so you will not receive a letter acknowledging that\n   accepta
 nce. Meals\, lodging\, and travel expenses are the responsibility\n   of t
