DESCRIPTION:   Course Description \n   This course is designed to provide g
 uidance to SAR field responders on\n   the best practices and techniques. 
 Information about the duties and\n   tasks of SAR field responders\, curre
 nt information on SAR field\n   responder clothing and equipment\, as well
  as details on the latest\n   search techniques\, information on SAR speci
 alists such as hasty\n   search\, grid search\, utilizing specialty teams\
 , subject packaging and\n   transport. Class will be 6:00 pm - 10:00pm EST
  on Friday. Class will\n   continue on Saturday and Sunday from 8:00am - 5
 :00pm EST. All students\n   must have water\, two flashlights\, sturdy sho
 es (no tennis shoes) and\n   appropriate dress for the exercise. If you ha
 ve a SAR pack\, please\n   bring for the exercise. Pencil and paper requir
 ed.\n\n   Student Criteria\n   This course is open to all Emergency Manage
 ment\, Rescue\, Fire\,\n   Emergency\, Medical\, Tele-communicator\, and L
 aw Enforcement personnel\n   or any organization having responsibility for
  searching for missing or\n   lost persons. You MUST be at least 18 years 
 old to register for this\n   class. \n\n   Special Notes \n   A MINIMUM of
  Fifteen (15) advance student registrations is REQUIRED\n   and must be re
 ceived by March 10\, 2026 in order to conduct this\n   course. We are limi
 ting the class size to 60. You are considered\n   accepted as a student in
  this class upon receipt of your application\n   by this office so you wil
 l not receive a letter acknowledging that\n   acceptance. Meals\, lodging\
 , and travel expenses are the responsibility\n   of the student and will N
