DESCRIPTION:   COURSE DESCRIPTION: \n   Do you fully understand the risk to
  your facility and know what makes\n   your facility susceptible to risk? 
 Are you prepared to mitigate those\n   risks?\n\n   The Conducting Risk As
 sessments to Critical Community Assets course\n   teaches the critical com
 ponents of risk management and provides\n   participants the basic fundame
 ntals of determining and mitigating\n   risks associated with their critic
 al infrastructure. Through a\n   combination of lecture\, facilitated disc
 ussion\, and group activities\,\n   participants will learn how threats\, 
 vulnerabilities\, and consequences\n   determine risk and are given an opp
 ortunity to practice the\n   fundamentals of conducting vulnerability asse
 ssments by conducting an\n   on-site site-specific risk assessment of sele
 ct local facilities.\n   Additionally\, they will identify potential mitig
 ation measures\n   associated with their findings and work together to dev
 elop and\n   present a risk assessment report.\n\n   Individuals completin
 g this course in combination with AWR213\, MGT310\,\n   MGT414\, and MGT45
 2 are awarded the [1]TEEX Infrastructure Protection\n   Certificate.\n\n  
  PARTICIPANT CRITERIA:\n   Participants must be U.S. citizens. A FEMA Stud
 ent ID is required to\n   register for and participate in any training pro
 vided by FEMA\n   agencies. All FEMA training providers\, registration sys
 tems\, and\n   enrollment procedures are required to use this FEMA SID\, w

 lass.\n   Note: Prior attendance approval from host jurisdiction is requir
