 on battery incidents with\n   BatteryIQ- a comprehensive training program 
 designed for a range of\n   scenarios from cellphones and electric scooter
 s/bikes to electric\n   vehicle fires and energy storage system failures. 
 This course equips\n   students with a simplified yet effective system to 
 comprehend\,\n   identify\, respond to\, and mitigate lithium-ion battery 
 emergencies.\n   Hands-On Learning: This afternoon session delves into pra
 ctical\,\n   hands-on learning. Witness demonstrations of battery failures
 \n   resulting from physical damage or overcharging. Engage with\n   recom
 mended Li-ION response equipment\, including Thermal Imaging\n   Cameras (
 TIC) and pH/F paper\, to monitor battery failures. Gain\n   valuable skill
 s in dismantling battery packs and conclude the hands-on\n   segment by le
 arning the safe procedures for over packing batteries\n   through various 
 methods.\n\n   Student Criteria:\n   This course is open to all Emergency 
 Management\, Rescue\, Environmental\n   Response\, Public Health\, Fire\, 
 Emergency Medical\, Law Enforcement\n   personnel or any organization havi
 ng responsibility for responding to\n   a hazardous materials incident. Ha
 zMat Awareness and Operations class\n   would be beneficial to the student
