Course Description:
This course is designed to provide guidance to SAR Incident Commanders, County SAR Coordinators, Emergency Notification Center Personnel, Law Enforcement Officers, Fire and Rescue Personnel, and other search managers on Golden, Golden-D, Green and Amber Alerts, KRS 39.080, 39F.180, 39F.220. This course will provide virtual classroom instruction on the different types of alerts that are used in Kentucky, who is responsible for issuing alerts, and the criteria for the alerts. Entire course will be conducted in a webbased/virtual classroom environment. Class will be from 1:30pm to 4:30 pm EST. 

Student Criteria:
This course is open to all Emergency Management, Rescue, Fire, Emergency Call Center Personnel, and Law Enforcement personnel or any search and rescue personnel actively involved or responding to searches. You must be at least 18 years old to register for the course.

Special Notes:
Advance student registration is REQUIRED and must be received by October 26, 2020 or until maximum registration is reached in order to participate in this course. The course will be limited to the first 50 registered participants. You are considered registered for this course once this office receives your electronic registration. Letters acknowledging registration will not be sent. Course materials will be sent to students the day prior to class starting via email.
